what do I torque these heads to

On a 305 how much should I torque the heads to and how much should I torque the rockers to?

Umm... Nothing special about 305 heads, just grab a shop manual and torque em down in three stages. 30-50-70.

The rockers are not torque, but set for correct valve lash or preload.

From your questions, it's best you sit down with a shop manual and learn the correct procedures. BW

Just get your Vise Grips and tighten the head bolts until they won't turn any more. Same for the rockers.

PS: you might want to double check me w/ a manual, memory's not what it used to be...
