Digital 6 is my only option?
I'm looking for an ignition box that will allow me to retard my timing for my nitrous hit. Is the $280 digital 6 the only box that'll do the trick?

The mallory box has a retard and window switch. If I was buying another ignition box, it would be that one, can't remember the part number though, look on the website.

You can buy a separate retard box.
The Digital 6 is a nice piece though. I ran one on my S-10. Liked the idea of pulling out 20* when I started the engine, and not having to change pills for Rev limiters(it has 2) and having it retard automatically my timing when I hit the button. MSD has outstanding customer service too.

I run an MSD 6 box with the MSD start retard/single stage retard. It retards the timing when the signal wire is removed from ground. If you run the signal wire to your nitrous solenoid's 12v side, it will lose ground and retard the timing the second you hit the button. You can find these on E-bay all the time.
