What if....

What if I put a 150hp shot of nitrouse on my 200,000 mile 305ci T.P.I. motor??

It's a t5 tranny & has the L98 cam.

Who recommends a button and who recommends a microswitch? I preffer a button since I have no rev limiter and don't want to floor it when I miss a shift.

Just want to get some opinions, my prediction is 80-90 percent of people will tell me it's a gamble, but it's already on the car so..well...yea

have an arming toggle switch

a full throttle switch

a window switch

You don't need, or don't even want a button to push when its nitrous time.

there's too much room for error if you put your nitrous on a button that you have to push with no safety check system.

well the window switch just makes thing easier. you won't have to worry about hitting redline or spraying too soon

It activates when you are above X rpm but below Y rpm...i don't think they cost much at all. check around summitracing for one.

If it does not blow the motor in seconds the tranny will come apart after not too much abuse. I say the engine will last longer than the tranny. It's all a matter of time though Can't wait to hear the results of this!!!

Pull 6-8* of timing, run cold plugs and run a good race gas (100 octane should suffice) and I see it lasting a decent amount of time. I wouldnt put a lot of faith in that T-5 though.

everything is set now all I need is a fuel solenoid & it's on.

I have retarded my timing 6 degrees so I am running 0 degrees base instead of the stock 6 degrees advanced. I will also definatly be running colder plugs and I have a window switch that will turn the nitrous on @ 3,500 rpm & shut it off @ 5k allowing me to shift around 5,500 rpm.

I call it V8tec should be pretty safe for a while but I'm pretty sure I take it down to a 100 shot so I can run it longer.

A video will come in due time.

AMEN to that. It'll cost less to pay him back than to blow up your engine unnecessarily.

Oh darn.

No we cant let it go until YOU complete the deal. This has been going on for how long now? Too long. Do even bother to wonder WHY this is brought up in every thread? Because you did him wrong, we all know about it, and until he says otherwise that YOU made it right, we will continue to bring it up. Sorry if it bothers *you*, but imagine how he feels getting his money ripped off by some jerk whos posting on that same message board about stuff hes buying and mods hes doing. Its idiots like you who ruin the online buying experience and make all the honest people out there look bad.

We, as a community, have to stick together on this kind of stuff to make sure none of our online friends get ripped off. Regardless what forum its in, this will be brought up because YOU DID HIM WRONG AND WE WONT STOP UNTIL WE HAVE WORD FROM HIM THAT ITS FIXED.
