Thinking juice, too many lil questions for search

I'm going to buy a NX 50-300hp shot kit that will be used for just playing and the import domestic shootout at the track-all the domsestic cars are running low 10's on the bottle so I usually get beat 2nd round.

Probably just put in the 150 jets sine the lower end is all stock stuff.

Question, are most of you taking out 2* for every 50hp?

What about your jetting, are you leaving the same jets in you use for racing/driving and then just using the juice on that? Or do I need to step up the jets in the carb before trying the bottle?

Have heard from many guys that they did'nt see much difference in the 150 and jumping to the 250 shot except more juice was used and thats about it-said it was'nt really worth it. Experiences?

Assume most are using the micro switch for WOT activation, what about the window switch? where you some of you have it coming in at?

How did it affect you rpm through the traps as far as what you trap N/A and then with the bottle?

I need to regear with these taller slicks, but I can live going .2 slower on a daily basis so long as it will trap about right on the bottle so I can use it shortly outta the box.

Well, if those people aren't feeling a big jump from going 150 to 250, that's strange to me. Buddy of mine was running a 210 shot for the longest time on his car then bumped it up to 250. Said it was like a whole different car. 210 is where I'm starting out, probably be going down to fill the bottle tomorrow

I thought it was odd too, but these guys that told me that were the same ones that helped finally get my car running right so I trust what they say. Maybe they have something not perfect.

Once I get installed, dont think I wont be trying the stuff all in Start at 150, then goto 300. Especially if I can get'r done before the track closes, need a reason to buy the bigger shortblock.
