what are you deleting -- there are two delete pulleys available, one for AC, the other one for the smog pump. And yes, both are made for the single serpentine belt setup, a very worthwhile upgrade.

With the v-belts, you should be able to simply remove whatever accessory belt you like without problem.

my serpentine goes around my alternator on the passanger side the compressor belt goes around another 3 pulleys on the driver side... so im guessing it has to be important... look at picture below where my finger is is where the compressor pulley was i dont know what to do

looks like all you need in that picture is a pair of wire clippers to snip that belt off. if you absolutely positively have to have a belt to run on the empty groove just to feel better. then get a shorter belt that goes around the same stuff without the A/C compressor. that is what I did, I ran that way for a while.

I eventually deleted the smog pump and did the same thing. then I ran that way for a while.

the last item was the power steering pump. when I deleted it all I had left was the single wide belt that went around the crank waterpump and alternator. that is what the car runs now.

in the picture that belt goes around all 3 other pulleys do those pulleys turn themselves? can i try to start my car and see if they all turn or will that mess things up?

you run the serpentine (which allows the crank to turn the waterpump and alternator)

you run a single V belt from the crank to run the power steeriing pump

if you wish to continue to run a smog pump for emissions, then you will need a second V-belt from the crank to run that as well

ok then everything should be alright as far as the belts go... i dont understand why the compressor belt would go around 3 pulleys instead of a single but... if u say it doesnt make a diffrence i can only take a experts advice over my own

appretiate it.
