Intake tuning is used to maximize the VE of an engine in a specific RPM range. You do that to make the most of the limited pressure differance between the intake and cylinder.
With boost you can do the same thing much easier by adding a psi or two.
It is more important to have a free flowing intake than a tuned intake when you have boost.
