i have a L98 vet mot with a paxton charger in my 88 GTA there are some dif but i made the blower that was set up for a gta mot fit with my motor the A/C pulley is going to need to be used if you want to get ride of the compres you will need to get a pully put in it place GM sell this you can also get one off of ebay for $60 or so.but back to what eles needs to be done the water pump for a vet is longer (the pullly sticks out fearther about 1/2 or so) what i did was i got a GTA water pump and adjusted all my pullys to line up with that one with speacers if you cant the find them i got a machean guy that can make them. when you do all of that the underdrive pully that comes with the blower should line up with the supercharger pully.good luck let me know how you make out.

so i just get a waterpump that is made for a camaro, and then it will be sittin about a 1/2 inch in closer to the engine then the rest of the pulley's, how exactly do you make spacers to suck the rest of the pulley's in...i guess i just don't understand how you move the other pulleys around to line them all line up.....so if I do this i can just use a camaro supercharger kit??? also i'm still waitin for info on that twin turbo kit that /\/3\/\/l8l3 is talking about...thanx...

Is your car V-belt? If the kit was made for a serpentine car, things aren't going to line up. I have to get all new braketry, pulleys and accessories for mine, but oh well, A/C and Smog pump aren't going back on anyways.

Another reason the Corvette kits are more expensive, I'm thinking ProCharger for sure, and I believe Vortech as well, all of the polishing options are standard, which when you price out polishing on blower, intake tract and bracket it bumps the price up quite a bit.

When you put the Vette engine in the Camaro, did you use the Camaro accessories, or the Corvette?

that is a good ? but it is surpteen a mot that is yenger then 87 that was the last year for the V belts after that is the surpt. when i had my vet mot in it hade all the vet pully i got rid of most of then when i got the f-body kit one more thing i forgot to menshion is the power stearing the vet one douse not have the resver bilt into the pully it is external so i also got rid of that it was still cheaper for me to swich these things then to get the vet kitt

That'll be their capability. You can't just bolt on a Turbo onto a stock engine and voila, 650HP. It'll all depend on what mods you have already and how much boost you're willing to run. If it's intercooled, a rough estimate is 7.5psi will give you ~50% increase in horsepower.

i realize you can only run so much boost on a stock engine, but i'm wondering if you are able to control the boost on that particular kit??
