I was just wondering what size turbos are people running and what hp numbers they're putting out. I have a friend offering me a TE-63 off a gn but he wants $600 for it and I don't think 63 like low boost (1.8) and higher flow (55lbs). Opinions would be great. Thanks

Turbo size has a lot to do w/ airflow requirements of the motor. Efficiency etc and airflow from the turbo etc...

I was running a 16G - 36lbs/min @ 2.0 PR... course, I was only running 9 psi

As of tomorrow, I'll be on a T61 @ 6psi

For comparison I'm running a TE64 and have gone as 10.69@125.8mph weighing 3550lbs.

TTA850 how much boost are you running?

I am looking at a t76gts for my 355. Talking to a few of the bigwigs over on turbomustangs that seems to be what they and I both feel work work best for the 6-10 psi I want to run...

I run about 19psi on pumpgas(93 octane)and the 10.69 run was with 25psi and racegas. It should go lower 10's this year that I've replaced the 3.08 gears with 3.42's and I hope to run more boost with the larger injectors as I was out of fuel with my old ones(had 55's now 83's).
