Weiand Baby Blower Buildup
ok guys this is how far iv come on my setup, before i order anything i wanted to run it past u guys. heres my plans
Weiand 142 cid Pro Street blower
rebuilt 350 4 bolt mains bored .030 over
stock bottom end, ARP main studs.
Speed Pro S/C pistons
World Products S/R heads, 76cc, 170 intake runners
(static compression should be around 7.5 : 1 maybe a little less)
Lunati Cam 285*/285*, 230*/230* @ .050 455/455 lift
matching Lunati hydraulic lifters
Harland Sharp 1.5 ratio roller rockers
Effective Compression on this motor at full boost (hoping for 8psi if possiable) should be around 11.6 : 1
no more then 28* of advance, full MSD 6AL ignition with boost timing retard box ( 1* to 3* for each pound of boost)
Holley 700 cfm carb probably jetted rich to avoid leaning out.
capable fuel system already setup, running on 92 octane.
looking to make 360-400 hp with alot of torque hopefully around 400-440 lb-ft
the only other thing i have a question about is how to setup the blower on a serpentine belt, which kit do i need? i was leaning toward a March pulley/bracket kit, but which one can i use in conjunction with the long nose 142? any pics anyone has of their setup would be very helpful. Thanks for all ur time guys, let me know what u think, this will be my first blower build up, and im hoping to have a fun car this summer with even more torque to throw down then before.
