new blower motor startups and break-in additive

Hi, i'm about to fire up a new motor...what is the comp cams break in additive? where do I get it? also, do I just add this in with the regular 10-30 oil that i use? run for 20 min at 2-2,400 rpm and then drain right? thanks! BTW i'm gonna break it in with the blower installed okay?

The comp cams additive, although a nice option, is not really necessity. It's just an added protection. So don't feel bad if you don't get any. Most places that carrry comp cams shhould have a bottle of it on hand if you have some local parts places that sell performance items. If you have a supercharger that has an oil line to your pan I would HIHGLY suggest that you not run it at intial start up. With all the rings trying to seat and bearings wearing in you will have some small particles in the motor. It just the nature of the beast. That's why everyone changes the oil after a break in. It's added insurance so that you don't prematurely ware out that nice, expensive blower.
