Is the charger bad?...

If someone has a supercharger trying to sell for 650, but cant turn the pulley by hand but it will turn when a wrench is used...

Is this normal or an indication to stay asway?

Thanks,

Sam

The Paxton SN series ball drive blower are easy to rebuild.

Cost $300.00 or less to rebuild if you do it your self.

A SN Ball drive Supercharger set up correctly normally takes 30 to 50 in/lb's
at the pulley to turn (most likely can't be turned by hand)

When you do turn it it should turn smoothly and not rachety, if
it's not smoothly turning then it most likely needs repaired.

One last thing, it came off a 86 corvette tpi. will it bolt on to a 88 305 tpi? Or do i have to modify alot?

Thanks,

Sam
