this has been discussed elsewhere,
for a motor like a 350,
you need 20 horsepower, at least, from the electric motor,
to drive the compressor

that is a lot

if it was hooked up right and had its own batteries and
could be truned on and off , it might be worth it, but unless it had the same power out put as a real supercharger
it wouldnt be much good.

great idea, bad exucution

How anyone could look at those pics and think BOOST could be built is beyond me....

the 2 psi of boost promise...LOL... I had a POFS autometer gauge that would show 2psi of bost with the car shut off...

People need to get their head out of their *** ion this subject>>>bury it and let it die... Everytime I see a car with one of these contraptions on it I want to slap the **** out of them..

it could be done , but those bilge pumps definetly wont do it.
an elctric motor an a real super might work , but only for a few minutes until the batteries died.

no it could work, but not very long.it would require a custom battery pack and it wouldnt last very long maybe 10 minutes tops, but it could be done. once we have fuel cells it should work just fine. but then you could always get a turbo.

My question is why did you post this? First you praise it, then you knock it. Are you begging for attention? There seems to be no real reason for you to have posted it otherwise.
Everyone knows this has been discussed on here 728.3 times, why bring it up again? You can search for it and read all day long if you want opinions, but please don't waste space and bump relevant threads further down the chain by doing it.

if something is a good adea but poorly done that doesnt mean we should throw the whole idea out.
