Paging 8/9 second guys
Guys,
I'm one of the co-founders of www.LS1Tech.com.
We have three more track events coming up this year, one at BG, MIR, and then NPR down in Louisiana.
For some of you Dart/Bowtie/LT1 folks, check out our Outlaw and Extreme Mod classes.
Outlaw is a 7.90-8.60 class, and Extreme is a 8.90-9.60 class. We only allow LT1 and LS1 engines in E/M.
If you have any interest or questions holla!
I recall that Tory Hess and maybe that 3rd gen Formula from NYC with the LT1 motor + NOS hang out on here.

its funny you say that! The only reason I am carb now is because of a long drawn out problem with my old 406. It was efi and I had nothing but problems from day one. Well after 1 year of messing with the motor I swapped a carb on it and id did the same thing!!!!!! well after 6 more months of messing with it I ran out of money and sold the efi stuff for soem cash. well I ended up having hte motor tore down and guess what!!!!!!!!1 my engine builder at the time never filed my file to fit rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 so that was the problem the whole time. you want to talk about pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! almost 2 years of messing with the car, selling all my efi stuff, my haltech e6gm, etc I was pissed. What would happen is under throttle the car would breakup and spit and sputter, onky after it got hot!.
Well I had another motor built and put my car stuff on it and it ran great on the first pass so I just stayed with it for money reasons...
