Stock numbers? little help
Picking up my Trans Am Monday!
it has a LB9 TPI 305 in it. The car is an 87 Trans Am, with the TPI 305 in it, and 700R4 transmission. Could someone please tell me the average 0-60 and quarter mile time / MPH of these cars? And what would I need to do to get this into the mid to low 14's? and still be a good daily driver?

Hmmmm, a bone stock fully loaded heavy T/A would be in the 15.5 ish range I'd guess. A 5 speed would be a tad quicker.
The ulta light weight 1LE Camaro 305 would run 14.5, so you may look into weight reduction that is free!
You could do exhaust, experiment with fuel pressure, do TPI manifold porting, headers and good exhaust, the list goes on and on!
Always be on the lookout for a cheap 350 roller cam engine! The TPI manifold is the same, except for injector size. I have a roller 350 out in the garage "just in case"
Good luck, and have fun!
