Safe amount of NOS to use?
I was talking to a friend of mine who im thinking about buying a NOS kit from. 500 for everything, including him installing it. He does good work so i trust him completely.
But i have one question, he said it would be safe to use a 200 shot in my car. I thought anything over 100 would be a great risk at me breaking something. So is he right?
Its a stock l98 with exhaust

You can run a 200 or even a 300 shot. But it's not a good idea, and the motor itself will have a hard time digesting all of that. Stick w/ 100 for now. If you want to get ballsy, then spray a 150, but check the fuel pressure when spraying to make sure the pump isn't dieing.

I'm currently running a 100 shot on my stock L98. I would NOT run anything more than 150 on a stock shortblock. ---You'd be asking for trouble. For 200 shots and larger I recommend forged pistons (they hold up much better under lean conditions), proper spark plugs, race fuel, timing retard set up, and a dyno tune.
