I am trying to get my combo together and trying to decide on a blower. I am going to run the roots style for the shock factor, and the price(I can get a deal on one). I am trying to get 600 hp out of a small block, which one do you guy recomend? I was thinking either a 250 or a 6-71. Or go really big and go 8-71 . Its either that, or build a 750 hp big block with a 8-71 blower.

the 6-71 should do just fine(since you can get a could deal on it). A 383 SB would be an excellent starting point to help make your 600hp goal "efficiently"....with more cubes the motor doesn't have to work as to make the same or more power than a smaller cubic inch motor, hence more efficient.
