Where to get Aluminum Stock ????
I need around 1-1.5"Outside diameter with a 3/8 inside hole. I also need 6-8 of them 12" long. I am mocking up my blower(F3M) while my car is at the chassis shop. Also does anybody make grade 8 threaded rod( 3/8's all thread)?It(aluminum stock) doesn't need to be round I guess it could be square or hex shape. I have seen thinwall tubing..but I don't think it would be strong enough.

I've started buying all my stock from ebay. I found a 8"x8"diameter piece of 6061 for 78 bux!!! Shipping was 42 dollars but that beats the 150+ dollard stock price anywhere in new england I could find.
