Bov?

What kind of BOV will I need for my 305TPI with a Garrett tp38? My friend says I need a 12:1 BOV. Do I need any specific kind?

How much money do you want to spend? You can get a cheap DSM or VW blow off valve for like 20 to 30 bucks. Someone may correct me but I dont think there are different sized blow off valves. In any case it wont matter for what your doing.

I think he meant a 12:1 FMU. As for the BOV, you can run a stock CBV or an aftermarket BOV.

Will this eliminate the need for bigger injectors?

I only plan on running about 6-7 psi.

FMU 12:1 means for every LB of boost, you add 12LBS fuel pressure. So if you start out at 43psi fuel pressure, you boost 7psi, so 7X12=84.00 + orig 43= 127psi fuel pressure. Your stock pump will never handle this and possibly your injectors may go static. You have many details to look at before you keep going.
