are you using a th400 or th350??? I am thining about going to a 400 with a brake over my current th350. I run foot brake right now. If I get the 400 it will have a break, and the diff gear set. it will ahve the 2.75, 1.57, 1.00 instead of the stock gearing which is 2.48, 1.52, 1.00 I was just wondering If I might slow down with the 400?????? set up the way I described

I have been running the T-400 with factory gearing, but am switching to a glide. I would be leary about putting the steeper gearset in there. I assume you will be spraying out of the hole, and with the trans brake putting you in your power band on launch, you will be putting out a sh*t load of tq and may end up blowing the tires off or on the bumper.
I honestly would go with a well built glide. You are making gang's of tq with the nitrous, and the car isn't that heavy. I think it will work out well.

So... add me to the list of "fast" guys telling you to go with a glide.

yeah thats what I have been hearing.. The car is 3400 lbs though that is my concern. I am just wondering if that is too heavy with 3.70 gears. right now if the track is working I am in the low 1.30 60ft's and usually carry the front tires a good bit.

My car is 2 staged right now so if traction was a problem I could always leave on a small shot then kick in a larger one.....

Arrrgghhh what to do thanks for your advice.....

so how is the car coming along....
