NOS sniper question
Hey guys I have a question for you. I scored an NOS Sniper kit off ebay cheap. The solenoids are used and I plan on rebuilding or replacing them.
Is there anything besides the solenoids that hold this kit back at 150 horsepower (like the bottle)?

Not completely sure. I have the sniper kit as well. I bought it new though. As with the power shot and super power shot kits, the nitrous lines are 4AN. All of the bigger kits use 6AN lines which means the tubing from the solenoids to the injector plate is probably slightly smaller as well. Also plate sytems lose their affectiveness at a certain point. I think the highest reccommended plate shot is 300. I'm not 100% positive though. I'll do some looking tonight.

On a side note, NX does have the Titan plate that is supposed to be good to 700 horsepower.

That's good to know. Maybe I'll get bigger solenoids and jets in the future and shoot a 250 shot.
As for NX's plate, sure the plate will work to 700, but at the price they want I'd rather tap my intake manfold for a direct port fogger. A plate is no where near as effective as a fogger setup. I would only trust a plate to 300.
