Nitrous set-up for SuperRam..... Questions

I am building a 383 with a SuperRam intake set-up. The motor alone will have near 500 HP. I would like to put a 150 shot of nitrous on top of that. From what ive gathered so far my two options are to use a dry fogger before the throttle body, or to use wet nozzles in each runner. What is my best option, and will the systems require different size injectors?

I know i could run 36# injectors for just the motor, but im wondering what i will need if i ran the dry nitrous set-up, the wet nozzles should take care of themselves, right? Since the FMS injectors only come in 30 or 42 pound versions and not 36, does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

I would just keep it simple, and go with the wet plate system. NOS #05151. This kit has 100, and 150 jets. Those injectors are a bit large IMO.

Floorguy, on the trans board, has a S/R 383, with #24 injectors, and it runs 11.70s, N/A. On a 150 shot, the car had gone 10.90s!

I have decided to wait on the nitrous until the middle of summer, i have alot of tuning ahead of me before i get to that point. I talked to holley and i might go with a proshot fogger and drill and tap the superram's runners for nozzles. My motor should be making close to 500HP, so with the wet nitrous i only need to worry about the motor itself cause the nitrous will take care of itself. Using as BSFC of .45, with 30 pound injectors with the fuel pressure cranked up to about 60 psi it will be able to supply enough fuel at an 80% duty cycle. Thanks for the info. On the motor with all the suspension, trans work, rear end and everything else i hope to be running 11s on the motor and 10s with nitrous.

I have a 383 super ram with a dry n2o system . It is from NOS part #5115 ( it's for a FORD ) ,it
is good for 75 to 150 hp with inline pump . I have 24lb injectors a little small but now problems yet . I've been running the system for about 2 years with no problems . Stay away for a wet system it will puddle in the plenum and may backfire .

Watch the injectors don't go static. (open all the time), not to mention the wear it will put on your fuel pump. #30s at that kind of pressure, will fuel about 625 h.p.@ .45 brake.

Not saying your incorrect, but with the calculators i've used with a BSFC of .45, at 80% duty cycle and 55-60 psi, a 30# injector will flow for 500HP. If im wrong please correct me, but those are the numbers im getting. And as far as fuel puddling in the superram, i've heard of that before, thats why i would inject it into the runners. Im not saying it can't be done, i just know that the superram was designed to have air flow through it.
