Boost Gauge Questions

I'm not sure which type of boost gauge to get, Autometer carries a few different types. Some that offer a reading of up to 60psi
and others that cover a range from vacuum to 20 psi boost. Any opinions on which I should get?? I'm really wondering if one is
more accurate than the other?

Also what is the best point at which to tap into the intake tract?? In the plenum or in front of the TB??

FYI--The blower is a Paxton SN-93 with the HO impeller.

Thanks!!

I have the auto meter one that reads in vacuum and boost. I think it will go up to 30psi and 30" vacuum.

Its best to know both.

Also, I tap into the plenum.

I have a CarTech 30" Vacuum / 20psi gauge....I plumb into plenum also....I agree with Guido...I like having both vac/press so I can always see whats going on with the motor....As far as gauge going to 60psi...I too own a paxton blower and I can promise you wont have to worry about seeing 60psi...7-8lbs if you are lucky.....

my .02

P.S. I have a used VDO gauge Id love to sell you if you wanna buy a used one cheap!!!!
