Engine timing and Nitrous

What's the highest timing you have gotten away with without detonation? I have the NOS 150HP kit and I sprayed with timing @ 5* BTDC and suprisingly there was NO detonation.
I had 93-octane fuel and 48PSI.

I normally run at 16 degrees initial. If I'm going to spray, I back it down to 12. I'm running the 150 shot cheater kit, and usually use 93 or 94 octane. I've never run into a detonation problem.

150 shot NOS, 700r4 w/ 3000 rpm converter and 3.73s in the back. Headers w/ full dual exhaust. 27.5 inch McCrearys. (free slicks)
12.98 @ 106 Natural,
11.83 @ 113 NOS.
