Are forged internals needed for a Supercharger?

Im planning a new engine over the winter. I have long term goals of a supercharger. Are forged internals recommended for a supercharger?

If you want it to last for any good length of time I would say go all forged.

Go for forged stuff!
I'm also planning for a SC soon but I have to rebuild my engine first with forged parts to make it hold.

I know a guy who has a ATI and nitrous on a stock engine 550 hp, but i didnt last long.....So go for forged if you want it to last

You can make it live on cast internals, but it takes exact tuning.
use forged stuff for good results.
good luck.
