NOS?

I am thinking of NOS to make my car insanely fast.what would be a good set up for my application and how big of a shot should I use so I wont have to worry about blowing my motor?100?or If it can handle more SAFELY tell me.

your motor can handle 150 shot of NOX , with out any problems , a production motor will take 100-150 all day long with any harm . so spray that puppy and hold on

You can safely go above 100 hp, just make sure you keep an eye on your fuel pressure and check your plugs. The stock TBI pump is pretty weak and may or may not deliver enough fuel. I am currently running 120 hp jets in my '92 RS with no problems. Experiment with timing fuel pressure and jets and you should be just fine. Have fun!

Make sure you get a kit that is adjustable higher than you initially plan to go. For example, if you buy the NOS Sniper kit, you're maxxed out at 150hp. I'd go with the cheater kit, that runs from 150hp to 250hp. With the KB pistons, I wouldn't go much above 180, but you might want the headroom if you decide to go forged. Get a set of plugs that are one step colder than stock, and NOT platinums. Pull a couple of degrees of timing out, and squeeze.
