Nitrous on a 305 TBI Camro
I just bought the NOS kit for a 305 TBI Nos part number 5153. Has anyone else used this kit on a 305? I hooked it up and i have the 120 hp jets installed and didnt really notice an increase of power? It was somewhat chilly that night i tried it and i just ordered a bottle heater so maybe that will help. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The bottle temperature affects the bottle pressure. Too cold and the nitrous will not flow. Too hot and too much nitrous will flow and you will run lean. Make sure you have the bottle mounted correctly. My NOS kit came with a trouble shooting guide in the last few pages. Follow the chart. You should have definitely noticed a 120hp shot.I suspect your pressure was low just as you said. Remember this is a relatively small shot; Its not gonna hit like a 300hp shot or anything. Watch the speedo as you hit the button, youll notice you are going alot faster than you think. My car dropped 1.2 seconds and gained 9mph at the track on a 100hp shot. Good luck man
