What 1/4 mile time will this yield?
I have an lo3 motor ow with 3.73 rears, headers, no cat, hollow muffler and it does 15.6 @ 87 MPH.
What will this motor swap yield time and est hp?
350 10.5:1 with forged pistons
Comp Cams 306 Magnum cam (solid)
1.5:1 roller rockers
ported and polished heads
Edelbrock 600 cfm carb
Weiand Team G single plane manifold
NOS 125 hp kit
Any help is appreciated.

low 12's, yeah right if he spun down the track. With that motor and good heads that you want ported and polished, plus a solid roller, that is an easy 11 second motor car. I would expect mid 11's with good traction.

Id like to see 11's out of it. No Tranny work nor rear end work.. hmm not gonna happen. Anyhow 11's Are VERY hard, besides we are talking a roll cage is going to be needed. You think his car is that fast with those mods? LOL, ill past my mods and ull probably think i got a 10 second ride.

That is a solid cam not a solid roller cam.... with this combo I agree you will need a 750cfm carb at least and a 9" (3500-3800) converter. We had this same combo in a 454 that had 11.1 compression and it made 585HP (at the crank) on the motor and the heads only flowed 293 @ .600 lift. In a 350 with with heads that flow in the same area you should make at least 550hp at the crank. This will be plenty of HP to put you in the 11's but as previously stated it wil be hard to drive everyday (with an automatic tranny). You will also have to put some gear behind this thing. if you go out there with this combo and a set of 3.23 gears you will finnish the 1/4 in second gear. Plan on shifting around 7500rpm and using at least a 4.11 gear if not 4.56's.

No offense, but we know what we are talking about and if you dont believe us fine, but you dont have to get all pissy about. The power is all in the heads. if he has good flowing heads, the motor will make gobs of power and even a little solid cam will make an easy 40-50hp alone. Dont belive me? look at chevy high performance. Did a test on a solid roller vs. hydraulic roller. was like advertised 282 and 282 not sure lift. solid made 48hp more at only 5800rpm.
ported and polished heads -- Well, when someone says ported and polished heads without a specific name, im assuming STOCK. Yeah those are great for Horsepower.

I have not raced at the street races in a few years but I did go and watch a few times this past summer.... I have been doing the events between Houston and Dallas this years (Navasota and Denton) We are taking my wifes 82Z28 to Houston this Saturday to run in the Texas Thunder event if you want to go with us. We just started her car and broke in the cam tonight before I came to work...lol. It is off to the exhaust shop in the morning when I get home from work....then she will be driving it the rest of the week to make sure there will be no problems and then we are driving it to Houston Saturday Morning.
