I just bought my 1985 Camaro and it was from an old lady and she said shed owned it since 1988 and couldnt remember who ownder it before her, she was asking 1000 dollars and said it had to much power for her, i said hmm ok. So i drove it and DAMN IT HAD POWER!!! So it drove great and sounded ok so i decided what the hell, ill buy it. Turns out It has a 350 and a Paxton supercharger on it!!

hahahhaah.. Well im took it to the track last friday, it only ran a 12.50 in the quarter.. i was pissed.

Well, it ran 12's on slicks, and yes i did something to it, i tuned it and put a freaking K&N air filter to it!

Actually after futher investigation its a Powerdyne... washed off a few more letters

 

Oh and BTW -- its only got 88k original miles

 

That happened to me too, then i woke up and realized it was just another wet dream. I do not believe it for a second. How would you not notice the distinct whine of a supercharger and pass it as something else? Very simple, way way way to good to be true, and besides what old granny buys a tricked out 85 camaro for a premium price if she did not like the power and then turns it around for dirt???

First wouldnt the paxton SCer COME with a K&N filter? I would hope so. And whoever owned the car before her only left 88,000 miles on it and had it SCed? If you are gonna SC a car you dont sell it at 88,000 miles. And IF by any chance it is a 85 SCed camaro with only 88,000 miles on it then you are a stupid **** for keeping it as a daily driver!

Is it tpi or is it carbed? Because if it is carbed you are going to have lots of problems with it and those boost levels.

Paxton DOES make a kit for 85-87 TPI cars. But as he mentined, he said he thought it was a powerdyne.
That just reinfoces my theory this is all BS. Powerdyne doesnt even MAKE a supercharger kit for thirdgens.

Id be more than willing to sell this car for 6,500 bucks to anyone that can come up with the cash. And sorry about the mix up on the blower thing guys. ACTUALLY its not a powerdyne its got a powerdyne air tube and i just jumped to conclusions. Its a rigged up setup, and its going to take me a little time to get it running right. I forgot to tell yall this car was stolen for 2 years and finally recovered but had been sold 3 times since the orginal thieves...
