Is it safe? and what kind of times?

Hello,
Is it safe to use a 100 shot of nitrous on a 91' GTA 350. It runs great and has 82k on it. Would it be too much of a risk(breaking things etc.)? Also what kind of times wouyld this car run with just the 100 shot and a catback exhaust? Thanks

NOS is as safe as you make it.Your stock engine will take the 100HP shot of spray easy as long as you fuel and ignition systems are in good working order. Most NOS failure is due to lack of fuel.As long as your pump is in good working order you will be fine. Also go to a one step colder spark plug than factory and and retard timing 1-2 degrees for evry 50HP shot of spray you run.You can look to knock off a half to a full second in the quarter.

A friend runs the 100hp NOS kit on his 1989 350 IROC with no problems.

It runs 14.4 at 94mph on the motor and 13.0 at 105mph on the bottle. He is using Nitto drag radials and gets 1.80 60' times with the stock torque converter.
