Supercharger, modify engine required ?
I want to put a superchager on my car, I was at the Paxton site, and they claim it will not harm your engine with stock parts, would it be a good investment for a stock engine, and what kind of power increase wil i get ? I basically know nothing about superchargers, but arent there two versions belt driven and gear driven, whats the diffrence ?

If it's properly tuned it can work just fine. Power-It depends on how much boost you will run.
It's a good idea to invest in some forged pistons.
Go for procharger or vertech instead of Paxton..

With an exhaust-driven turbo, I'd also invest in the best exhaust valves and seats you can get.
Industrial turbo-charged engines always have sodium-cooled exhaust valves. I'm not sure if they're much heavier than regular exhaust valves, but those valves are in there for a reason.

My understanding is the sodium filled valves are lighter. They have a hollow stem partially filled with sodium that melts and "splashes" inside the hollow stem transferring heat away from the head of the valve.
