I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not you could use a LT1 Nos kit with TPI.. and what were the main differences? I know that the LT1 kit doesn't have the throttle body plate like the TPI kit does (I used to have a TPI NOS kit).. and I am assuming that the LT1 kit just has you put nozzles in the intake, like on imports. I know it is possible to put the TPI kit on the LT1.. it'll bolt right up. But NOS says not to use it.

I don't like the Throttle body plate idea.. would an LT1 kit work better?

Also, I read an article from a while back showing the install of a TPI kit and it had no throttle body plate, was a dry system, and had a custom piggy-back ecm chip that was only activated when the NOS was being used and would deliver more fuel.. that seems like a better idea than the wet TPI kit. I saw a picture of the LT1 kit on the NOS site and it looked like it had fuel lines, so I am assuming it doesn't do that.

Anybody know about the interchangability?
