I was about ready to buy a Procharger when my buddy tells me in order to run that with a carb you need to buy a kit for the carb in order to handle the extra force exterted by the blower (another $600). Something about too much pressure on the fuel in the bowls. Anyways he said it was a major pain in the *** and did not reccomend me doing it. Can anybody else attest to this?? If the idea doesn't work out, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Try finding a guy on the www.camaroz28.com forced induction forums that goes by the name of Chad Byers. He had a 502 with a carb and a procharger. He recently switched to EFI but Im sure he could give you some tips on how to get it done correctly.
He has a late 70's nova. His webpage is in his profile.

Thanks Guido. We've never met before, but I saw your car back in June at US41 and I'm good friends with Randy (MeanYellow). I love your car and that new motor your putting in there. Hope to see you next year!
A while back I spoke with a company that did Procharger setups with carbs, I don't remember what company that was however. Most of the conversation was him telling me to consider EFI. Turbonetics makes a couple carb bonnets for turbo setups, I'm sure you could use one of those with some custom plumbing. If you call Turbonetics they can provide resellers, I believe they were in the $60-80 range.
