The Beast is alive and well!!! (so far)

ok, i'm keeping my fingers crossed. i fired up my car last Saturday! i had a couple problems that i ran into (leaky fuel fitting at the rail, and leaking around the heater core), but i fixed them last night. we set the base timing, idle, fuel pressure last night. i haven't taken it for a spin yet, but hope to do so soon. it sounds very healthy! the idle is just under 1000 rpms and isn't too lopey, just a little rough but nothing outrageous. i've still got a small list of things to do:

replace broken coolant temp sensor
mount the variable injector controller
reseal the tranny pan (someone used permatex AND the cork gasket!!!)
fix a leak from the tranny cooler
finish wiring up my dual (R/L) air/fuel guages
put the rest of the exhaust on
fab the intake tubes from turbos to TB
install spool in the 9"
weld subframes

hopefully i'll have most of this done by the Georgia F-body shootout on March 11. i'll have dyno #'s by then as well!

Good job, dude! Post some pics of a nice, smoky holeshot once she's broken in. Tell me you were a good boy and rerouted those oil feed lines...

GMI Fast, no i haven't rerouted those oil lines yet but you'll be glad to know that it's on the list of things to do! it's a simple fix--i just haven't had the time yet to do it. thanks for the input!
