Adding a three inch spacer for a supercharger, is it wise?
Can I add a 3" spacer between crank and pulley for a "Paxton" style blower. The application is on a boat. The only way I can install a supercharger (and keep it under the engine cover) is to position the supercharger low and up forward. This would require about a 3" spacer to be placed between the harmonic balancer and supercharger's drive pulley.
Is this excessive?
Thanks,
Mike

It won't be a problem. My ATI kit comes with a crank spacer that's slightly longer than three inches.
