Trevor 91 Formula

While my motor was out of the Formy I decided to put my MDS 6A box in my Convertible just to try to make the L03 as fast as that slug can get.
Well i think I'm going to leave it in there and get a MSD 6B(oost)T(iming)M(anagement) box in order to control my timing from the dash under boost.
Anyone ever used them? Do they work pretty well?

Yeah it works pretty well. It takes out timing per pound of boost it sees. You can take out as little as 1/4 degree per pound, or up to 2 1/2 per pound I think..

The only downside is that it will stsrt pulling timing on the first pound of boost, which really isnt needed. Some other systems like the Smart Spark will let you regulate it based on rpm also, but overall the BTM works pretty good. I dont even know If they make the Smart Spark anymore.. Havent seen it around lately for sale.
