Actually the Voltage brain that people run on the Weldons and bigger pumps have nothing to do with idle and part throttle. They run those so the pump dosnt overheat on the street. When I was building a Mustang intended for True Street we installed one. After talking to Weldon, they said we really did not need to reduce the voltage on the pump, because it was not going to be stressed enough to overheat with the setup.
