those who know nos please help quick!!!

this is long, please read the ending is kinda nice!!!

ran my first run today, with a 91 350 with 100shot and it ran good, after the third pass, i noticed it didn't pull much; i kinda think the bottle is low, it has been stting for almost 9 months.......

can nitrous evaporate like this! only 3 runs and one or two purges, kinda seems funny.....o'well onto the big problem!!!!

After the 2nd run, not really getting a boost, i checked the engine; oil had come out the dip stick! I think a little around the valve covers too!

when i opened my filler cap; the oil actually looked like a capaccino color! weirdest thing i've ever seen!

The oil smelled like gas so i'm assuming that it is running rich! I run 10w30 mobil1 synthetic....the guy who installed this for me says i should change the oil and put 20w50 to fix it!......all i know is the engine was a strong running engine until this! what could be the reason for this, and a good solution to fix my problem!

please give me ideas to check!

THE GOOD NEWS
on my cars second run out, a 99 white mustang gt pulls up to us with a hot girl in the passanger seat.....I look over and the guy stares and laughs as the girl gazes on so what do i do , what else; flip the switch and hit the purge quickly for effect(just had too once). The girl smiles in astonishment and as quickly as the guy looks over and steps on it we were gone. we pull over to a gas station so i could check all the lines and a few sec. later he drives by flipping us off!! i didn't know it was this much fun; sorry, thought i would share.

Man I hope that is not coolant mixing with the oil.. Also blowing out the dipstick could possibally mean a cracked piston. Or your PCV system isnt working correctly. hopefully it is nothng.

hmmmmmmmmm, let me think, white, milky, foamy, smelly, yup say good night. there is water in that oil. I would suggest that you @ the very least. buy a can of that engine oil cleaner stuff (the stuff that you put into the oil), & a can of the radiator cleaner stuff (i recommend bars or prestone) put the radiator stuff in @ the store, drive home. stop the motor & put the oil cleaner in. start the motor but do NOT drive the car. this stuff breaks down the oil (duhhhhh) let it run for 10 minutes. drain the oil & coolant. put through two quarts of 99c oil & let it drain through. put the plug back in & fill it up with your oil of choice. drain the coolant & flush. fill with new coolant & water. drive it for 2 weeks. if you still get the crapachino you have hurt something & are getting water into the oil. if you have it in the radiator you have oil in the water (harder to do, but not impossible). if either is true then pull the heads & hope that this is simply a head gasket. if not it was time to stroke it anyway.

Damn Bob that's one hell'uv way to check things out. Just go down to the local service station and have them pressurize the cooling system and see if it holds. If it's leaking into the engine, you better get it checked out quick, and quit driving it.
At least you took down one pony before she blew. I got a set of head gaskets I dont need, if you want them. Detonation is most likely the reason for your problem. Fix that problem and it should hold fine.

thanks for all the replys i added 15w50 synthetic and things seem to be alright, at least there isn't a visible sign that anything is wrong, can anyone explain what the diffent grades of oil do or more reasons why this might have happened!

thanks for all the help

bob; if i changed the oil and everything seems fine, wouldn't it still do something if their was a coolant problem? I have no idea so i'm just asking! thanks everyone

should i still get my coolant checked if everything seems fine with the new weight oil, and does this seem like a descent weight for an engine!

I wish i had a book to read on this stuff.

If you change the oil & it does not come back with regular driving then there might not be permanent damage done. if it comes back then it is time for pulling the heads. If it does not come back, maybe got a smaller shot & give it another go, KNOWING that next time you might not get so lucky. this is part of the game, you want to play....... you know the rest.

you can do a leak check like Blown85 said, this will acomplish the same thing allthogh you are going to want to get that stuff out of your motor anyway so...... dont see any reason why not. if you know the guy @ the service station this is cool. if you dont, he is going to pull the filler cap & try to scare you into having him pull the heads for you @ whatever his rates are. not that this might not be a bad idea, but the idea of this kind of forum is for everyone to help everyone else DIY. so my motto is DIY & that is what i would do, just me. we used to squeeze just about everything when i was in high school (Toys, Datsuns, VWs, Chevys, Frds, etc) & have killed more than my fair share of toys with the bottle. have also left a lot of expensive car owners scratching thier heads when they got blown away with moms 79 corola 4 door

thanks bob, i changed the oil and kept the boost small and it seems fine.....drove the car for 4 hours with no sign of anything bad!! so far looks good. one problem though, i bought a breather(k&n) and it doesn't fit well; is there a company that makes a breather that will fit stock valve covers for my year.

thanks again

you mean the metal part & everything, or just the element? if you mean the element i would say that it is not the right one for you application. they are drop in replacements & if it does not fit then ?????????? if you mean the metal housing & everything then i am not much surprised. I would use the element & drop it into the factory housing. if that is a no go, then modify it to fit as best it can.

Sorry i could be more helpfull.
