Just a thought really-I don't intend to use the stuff on the street, maybe just for an occasional weekend at the strip. At first glance it seems like a waste, but the TBI systems from NOS are pretty reasonable. In their catalog they say the 100-150 horsepower kits can be used with all stock components. But how long will my engine live if I use it say...once or twice a month?This system would be going onto a brand new engine so I have no worries as far as questionable components. Has anyone installed one of these systems on a 305 TBI car? Was it a trouble free process? What was your improvement E.T-wise? Also behind this setup I will have a rebuilt 700R4-is occasional nitrous use going to shorten it's life? After that my only other concern is the rear end. Since nitrous is only used at WOT is there really that much shock loading on the r&p?
