ATI Users, Do we need to relocate our battery?

ATI Users, Do we need to relocate our battery?

I have an 87 trans am (i have a serpentine conversion) and i'm considering ATI's kits but i'm wondering if i have to relocate my battery and if so, where?

The answer is yes!!!

The kit comes with the bracket to relocate the battery forward (closer to the headlight assy) and toward the radiator.

This is required to route the aftercooler-to-throttlebody tracting....

It's the easiest part of the install.

Your info is good for Camaros, but I believe the Firebird's battery is on the driver's side. That being the case, I cannot answer the original question.

Well, no. i did the install on a GTA and you dont have to relocate the battery perse' but i'd HIGHLY RECCOMMEND IT.

The reason why i say this is because the FMU lines are right by the battery and if that line bursts and hits the positive side of the battery you will have a fire
