Is CompuCar nitrous any good?
I am in the market for nitrous this summer and I saw the group purchase for the CompuCar nitrous kit for $460 on www.ws6.com My question is this. Is this a good company? Does the quality of their products match the quality of say NOS or NX? If anyone has had any experience with CompuCar please let me know what you think. Also, if anyone has any suggestions of another company to go with or any pros and cons about any of the other nitrous companies I would appreciate the advice. I'm thinking that the two accessories that I would get to go with the nitrous kit are a pressure gauge and a remote bottle opener. Thanks in advance.

My advice is just don't buy a NOS kit. Cheap brackets for bottle and solenoids and cheap customer service.Mine works great but after dealing with unexperienced customer service and the cheap stamped mounting brackets I will go elsewhere next time. Hell, I even bought a remote bottle opener only to find out that you still need to turn off your bottle after cruising because it doesn't hold pressure that well by design. All it is intended for is to keep pressure off of the nitrous solenoid. Why would I care about that. I believe NX has a motorized one that actually physically opens and closes the bottle. Much, much better.
