Nitrous on my Camaro???

I need expert advice please!!! I have a 87 Z28 with 50,000 miles on it. Mods are roller rockers, headers, open element air filter, not cat converter, no a/c, no smog pump/filter. It runs like a monster. As is, can the engine handle a 150 shot of nitrous. Someone please help me soon. Thanks.

Most of the time I have heard that with a motor with stock pistons, and crank, etc.
That you dont want to go with more than 125 hp shot. i also reccomend the fuel saftey cutoff switch. For like 30 bucks its a good investment to keep from blowing up the motor.

i agree with jmp- fuel cutoff is the best investment a nitrous user can get. i don't know about the fuel pump- I've been running 150 HP shot on my stock internals 305 (70,000 mile on it)- it's been running terrific since i've installed it, and I've run about 7 or 8 bottles through it so far. just make sure your ignition/fuel system is up to par, other than that I can't see a reason as to why you shouldn't run nitrous through it

If you are worried about using a kit that is too large, only use it for higher rpm and be sure that you can feed it enough fuel also start with a healty dose of ignition retard and work your way up.
