Attn:Guido,bypass valve questions

I know you have a Vortech bypass valve,how do you like it and is it streetable.How much and can it be welded to my aluminum intake piping

Ilike it but wish I would have bought the bigger one.

When you get it, you can buy either a steel or aluminum flange from them. But, you will have to find the tubing yourself. I had to locate some aluminum tubing from a local source to get my flange welded on.

Here is a pic. I am pleased with it but my compressor STILL chirps after a run a little bit.

Do those basically serve the same purpose as a blow off valve? (IIRC, releasing extra pressure in the intake after the throttle blades close)

Hey Guido...

Isnt that thing adjustable? Just loosen up the set screw. Thats all you have to do.

I just looked at the pic. Do you have a vacuum line attached to the blow off valve? I see the filter on one end, but cant tell where the vacuum line is hooked up. If so, where are you getting the vacuum signal from?

vacuum is ref off the manifold.
