What would be a good cam and heads for my SCed car?
I was wondering what would be a good cam and heads for my car with the supercarger and mods?

TFS 23 deg heads: Cheap, flow awesome, aluminum, only make 3hp less than AFR 190's, great quality. Do not confuse these with the TFS twisted wedge. These are POS heads, bad quality.
ZZ4 cam: Cheap, Ideal S/C specs, great lift, factory quality.
------------------
82' Z-28. 327" w/ flat tops. 216/228/112LS. Pocket ported 041 heads 1.94/1.50 SS valves. World Class T-5 from a 91'. Best run? Runs with 2001 vette to 150mph! Soon to be converted over to TPI w/ supercharger.

I think Daz runs TFS heads...
Any good flowing head will do. AFRs flow really well, especially at higher lifts. If your cam only has 0.5" or so, then it may be overkill.
Most cams for nitrous are dual pattern grinds. A good exhaust lobe and exhaust flow numbers for the heads is quite nice for nitrous.
------------------
1984 z28 w/ a 357 cu in. monster engine which is looking like the posterchild for Edelbrock with the exception of the Holley 750vac... all the suspension stuff... 9-bolt posi disk is in...

I agree with split duration cam. Exhaust should be roughly 10 degrees more. Also watch lobe seperation. Around a 112 would be good. If going AFR, look into 195's as opposed to the 190's. They will give you a little more intake volume and not really hurt your low rpm intake velocity that much.

I thought a higher lobe separation was ideal for supercharging. I'm trying to decide between my stock cam and the SLP cam that I bought.. It's got a 112 degree lobe separation while my stocker has a 117 degree lobe separation. I've got an 89 Firebird with a 305 TPI. Anyone have any comments?
