ZZ4 motor
ZZ4 motor
the pistons in the ZZ4 motor are hypereutectic, and I've heard quite a bit about nitrous and hypereutectics, but has anyone had any experience with running nitrous and hypers? my brother's car has an excellent high performance fuel pump, and a good HEI ignition system, the intake system is carbureted, with a 750 race demon, and and edelbrock performer dual plane manifold. the motor runs really well. I've got a 90 IROC Z with a 305 TPI, Ive been running nitrous on it since december, atleast 12 or 13 bottles so far, at 150 HP rate, my car honestly has never run better. my question is can 150 HP if wisely used, checked, and maintained, be used on hypereutectics, or is that just too much? and how does the fuel enrichment work with a carburetor? is it a fuel spray bar, and where does the extra fuel come from?
thanks a lot in advance
