I've got a bone stock 88 GTA, 350 tpi, and I want it to be a hell of a lot faster. I have $1,300 to make her as fast as possible, any successful suggestion? (please be descriptive, and keep in mind i'm a novice, so no mumbo-jumbo :-) Thanks,

1300=vigillante converter(700),shift kit(30),used 3.45 9 bolt rear9(200-400)or 3.42 i prefer the 9 bolts(most t-5 irocs 88-on),afpr(60),airfoil(45),money left over for a tune up using good plugs and wires(accel)or ditch the 3.45 rear and score a set of headers you already have the 3.27's in there.
