yes its possible, but if you have the LO3, you might want to work on the rest of it before you add a blower.

how do you get it to work. what about egr and the like? i have a 91 rs with lo3 and 5 speed. the only mods i've done are performer intake hypetech chip and thermostat. i know when i ordered the intake i had to order with egr. how would that work with roots. ive recently got a hold on a weiand 142 without the intake portion. i would like to put on my car. im sure the lo3 won't ast long but i need a good excuse for a goodwrench 350 anyway

It isn't just slap on and have fun. You will need some major eprom tuning. A carb is easy, engine wants more air, carb gives more fuel. TBI doesn't know how much air the engine is taking in (speed density, no MAF sensor ). If you have an extra car/truck for a daily driver then go for it and have some fun. Slap on the blower and crank up the fuel pressure, just don't expect much. If you do plan on keeping the speed density system then you'll want a 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor. Oh yeah, and EGR....HAHA, blower and EGR...that's a good one, thanks for the laugh. BTW, you don't NEED to have EGR just because the Lo3 has EGR heads. The only problem you'll run into if you disable EGR is that the stock eprom will advance timing a few degrees and you might have detonation (bad fuel, bad power, bad bad bad).
Hope this helps you with your decission.
