turbo tpi?

turbo tpi?

how can you do this?
or should i sell my tpi setup? got the turbo...got the car...also have a 750cfm holley carb in the garage.....

but i want to keep my low-end torque, so how can i setup a turbo tpi?

You will never have to worry about torque again if you size your turbos properly. I am seeing full boost at 2000 rpms, way before the peak torque of the NA TPI engine, so it's a boost all the way across the board.

how did you fit the turbo to the tpi unit? did you go directly to the TB? what about manifolds to go from the exhaust to the turbo?

I made my own intake/intercooler ducting by buying aluminum mandrel bends from Burns Stainless, and fabbed the intercooler end tanks from sheet aluminum (all tig welded). Prior to the IC setup, I made the turbo to throttlebody ducting from dynomax mandrel bends cut on a chop saw and mig welded (I didn't have a tig at that point). The exhaust manifolds are the restrictive Gale Banks cast iron units. I hope this helps.
