im gettin a adjustable 250 shot of nos and its set for a 125 shot , and i was woundering what will this do to my engine. im only goin to be using it at the track and that will only be a few times maybe this year before the track closes. and the engine i think has about 5000 miles on it or more but its in great cond. and if i use it like a few times a year what would it really do to my engine, becuz ive heard people say they've used 150 shots on stock engines and on well maintained engines and they've said they have no problems with there engines. so please let me know thanx.

new ignition system, edelbrock intake,600 cfm q-jet,th-350 tranny, used black interior, grant stering wheel, accel plugs and wires, hookercat back, b&m shifter, emmission delete package, computer delet package and soon ac delete and in future-- hooker sump comp headers, posi rear, drag slicks and all new rims probably weld rims, line lock, 8 point roll cage, strut tower brace, drag shocks, sfc, new edelbroc 600 carb, nitrous and a weiand supercharger or a 350 or 400 block

 

if you decide to stick w/ anything up to and under a 150 shot, you should be just fine. Just take the time to make sure your fuel system and ignition are in tip top shape and have fun. Actually, don't be afraid to use it at a stop light from time to time....just to smoke the occasional stang or something. And if its worth anything a 125 shot on my old peg leg RS 305 got me 1.4 seconds!!!
