I might want to put a supercharger on my '87 IROC. I'm going to rebuild it over Christmas break with forged pistons, have someone rebuild heads, then I'll port the heads. Next I'll put about $1000 into suspension/tires. Then with what I have left I'd like to get a supercharger. Can I get underdrive pulleys that will change my car to all serpentine, or is it more complicated than that? 12s at the 1/4 would be a goal, while still very streetable. Would want to put about 4-6 psi on street, 10-12ish psi at track(i'm guessing at numbers here). Am I going to break my 9 bolt? What superchargers should I look at for what I'm wanting? Will I need new injectors for this? I have 700R4 with stock converter. Is there anything engine-wise that I need/should update for safety? Have a TPI 350, BTW.
