supercharger 305
hey guys i just got a 92 t/a with a supercharged 305 and a 5 speed. it has a paxton pulling 4 psi at 5000, a granatelli 255 lph pump, 3.70 gears, and a centerforce clutch. by the end of the week the car will have headers, exhaust, cold air intake, adjustable fuel regulator, subframe connectors, and lower control arms. my main question is this: i need the car for a daily driver, so smoothness and economy are a concern, and i dont have the time to do any internal mods (cam, heads, bottom end), so what can i do to enhance this combo? i know i at least need a chip, running at 210 with a stock chip cant be helpful for a supercharged car, but ive never dealt with a supercharged car ( i do know tpi though). friends have been telling me to run a different pulley for more boost, running a boost timing master, and menthonal injection system, but im not sure so i thought i would ask the experts . . .i would like to run at least mid 13s and get good mileage.

OK, first off. If you dont have a good tune on it, DONT romp on it. hell, watch how much you drive it any.
Seriously, a cars performance is ALL in the tune. A GOOD tune focuses on driveability moreso than WOT. Considering your car isnt at WOT but only 5% or less of its lifespan, real tuners tune it all around.
Id keep low boost on hypereutectic pistons. I know my friends with 2valve 99-04 GT's run 6-8lbs of boost on their WELL TUNED cars and daily drive them.
Seriously, spend the money and go get it tuned GOOD by a reputable well-known tuner.
good luck.
